If you check my previous reviews, you will see that I reviewed another budget paddle in a similar price range as this a few months back. I also gave it a 5 star rating, but in hindsight I ordered the wrong model for my game. I am not a massive fan of 14mm core paddles. This paddle is certainly better.Well, this is obviously a 16mm paddle and I love it! At the current price point of about $50-$55 (after coupon), it is certainly better all the way around to the other paddle I bought and is well deserving of a 5-star rating. This paddle does have a list price of $96, if it was priced around there, I think it would be much tougher to recommend. But at the current price point, I love it.It's weighted decently well and the face is REALLY gritty which should help spin. I will say that I haven't noticed that it spins significantly more than my typical game paddle (Gearbox Pro Elongated). But it's great paddle all the way around. Great for someone who is just getting into pickleball and wants something that's 90% as good as the best paddles out there, but doesn't want to spend $275 on a top tier paddle.

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free ProductThis is an excellent pickleball paddle. As someone who’s played tennis my whole life, I naturally bring a spin-heavy style into my pickleball game—even at an advanced beginner to intermediate level. That’s why I’m always on the lookout for paddles with high traction to help grab the ball and shape shots. This has to be one of the highest-traction paddles I’ve tried. The surface texture is aggressively grippy—just look at my zoomed-in photos, where you can clearly see the microtexture made up of tiny raised points. In addition to the surface, the paddle’s core delivers great feedback and control, and plays crisp, quick, and nimble overall.Offered at a reasonable price point, I believe it’s on par with some of the top names in the game. It seems to be a well-made, high-performance paddle that’s a welcome addition to my collection.

This LiberAla Pro paddle has completely elevated my game. The carbon fiber surface gives it a super responsive feel, and the PP honeycomb core delivers a great balance of power and control. I went with the LA-OmniCore Three model and couldn’t be happier—it’s lightweight but solid, and the build quality is outstanding. The grip feels secure even during longer sessions, and I’ve definitely noticed more consistency and spin on my shots. It’s also USAPA certified, so I feel confident bringing it into tournament play. Easily one of the best paddles I’ve played with. If you’re serious about your game, this one’s worth every penny.

I'm a beginner at pickleball, and this paddle is perfect! It's lightweight and has a great grip. I have small hands, and it fits comfortably without slipping. It’s easy to control and makes learning the game more fun. Definitely a great gift idea for anyone starting out in pickleball!

This is the 2nd USAPA Certified / Approved carbon fiber paddle I’ve tried but sadly not my favorite.Overall build quality is actually very good. It has a consistent texture and seems decent for putting some spin on the ball.Comes with a black grip tape installed (nice but not ridged) and 2 brighter replacement over grips.Does not come with a head cover, which was a bit of a bummer (I like protecting my gear). The issue is simply that the girth of the grip makes it feel like a tennis racket. It’s significantly thicker when compared to my other paddle. In use, it doesn’t prevent accurate shots or impede play necessarily; it’s simply not my preference. If you have larger hands, this is actually a big positive for you! Definitely worth checking out.If you have smaller hands.. I’d pass on this one.Asking price is fair, it’s a good value paddle.
