I got this for a partner that travels a lot. I have recently gotten her this, a safety alarm for her key ring, a car battery recharger, and a tire inflator so she isn't stuck by the road.She joked that I think something terrible is going to happen. I don't think it will, but I watch enough Dateline to know that it can. Why chance it? Life isn't as secure as we think, and this is a nice added bit of piece of mind. The noise alone will scare off most intruders.I felt a little stupid the first time we were trying to set it up, but after you get it, it is really easy to install. She actually got it installed properly first, which is good since I want her to take it on trips.
