The part seems to be solid but does not fit my needs. It would be nice if the description included some measurements.

These thread tension assemblies were the perfect fit. I've been sewing for years and didn't know until recently that these should be replaced every so often. I have wrestled with the tension on my machine for a while and ordered two of these. One to replace the old one and a spare that I'm sure I will need later.
