Why did you pick this product vs others?:These landscape staples are made of very good quality steel, effective and easy to use. They are quite sturdy but with a sharp tip; I can easily press them down to the ground. The ring top design makes them very safe in the garden with minimum trip-over hazard. But when necessary, they can be pull off the ground quite easily. This is a smart and convenient method to pin down landscape fabric to suppress those ever growing annoying weeds. I wish I had discovered this earlier!

These staples for weed barrier went through the fabric and all the way into the groumd easily. When I decided against using the barrier in that spot, they pulled back out just as easily, none the worse for wear.Seem up to the intended task. At $27 for a box of 100, they aren't unreasonably priced, but a quarter apiece does seem a tad high compared to 16 cents for garden variety u-shaped staples. Even if they prove to work better, do they work 75% better? I guess time will tell.

I used these galvanized landscape staples for a recent backyard project, and they’ve held up really well. The steel is strong enough that they didn’t bend when I pushed them into compact soil, which has been a common issue with cheaper pins I’ve used in the past. The dome head and wide “W” shape really do grip better—I noticed the fabric stayed in place through wind and rain. They’re also rust-resistant so I don’t have to worry about replacing them anytime soon. Having 100 in a pack was super convenient and saved me trips to the store. Great value for the quality and quantity.

Do yourself a favor if you have weed barrier to lay down and you don't want it to move. Don't use the included staples that come with some fabrics and buy these. They work so much better. Just get yourself a dead blow mallet and drive these into the ground through the fabric and it's not moving. Simple as that. Yes it is a little more costly, but it's worth the headaches over the alternatives.

These landscape staples are easy to install and provide better support and coverage than your standard U-shaped staple. I prefer the style with the plastic washer/gasket for holding power but they are far more expensive than these. Time will tell how well they hold up as it's been my experience that these tend to rust and deteriorate rather fast in terms of longevity... landscape fabric or plastic sheeting tends to last quite awhile so you want staples to last for the same duration.Overall, I'm satisfied with the product and give it my seal of approval, with 1 star deducted for what I deem too high a price for what you get.
