I didn't find anything stated in the manufacturers description to not be accurate, this portable air conditioner works very well and the fan is fairly quiet at low speed, a bit louder on high. It's a nice compact size, the digital adjustment touch screen display is nice and the controls are simple, the fan has two speeds. My only complaint is that they didn't include an extra plastic panel that would make it easy to exhaust thru tall windows or sliding glass doors. To do that you would need to cut a wood panel for the extra length. They could have included an additional plastic panel for a very small extra cost. The two-piece sliding panel adjusts to lengths between 37" and 50" very easy with a unique tension lever that secures the length of the two included panels. The bottom exhaust panel by itself is 26.5" long so to exhaust thru a window shorter than that would require cutting the plastic panel to length. You would also need to cut one of the panels for window heights between 26.5" and 37". The flex exhaust tube is a bit difficult to get into place in the plastic fittings, the fittings slide into place easily, the tube doesn't. All in all I'm happy with this unit, it cools our bedroom quietly and simply.

Works great, cools fast. Haven't had any troubles or malfunction as of yet. This Portable AC is a go git'it done. I am very impressed with the performance.

For a 10,000 BTU AC this does well but is on the noisy side. I used an app on my phone so these measurements are for reference only. Fan only on low measured 71 dB, fan on high 74 dB. With AC compressor running or dehumidifier with fan on low 75 dB, fan on high 78 dB.The window vents it comes with are for windows starting at 26 ½ inch. My house has 23 inch windows. I could cut the window vent plate to fit or I as I did. I picked up a window vent kit that can work with smaller windows. The filters are super easy to remove wash dry and replace. I run them under water and rub with an old toothbrush. I will be using this in a small room. It might do okay in a room 20 x 20 but more than that it might struggle. The wheels roll well on tile floor and my low pile carpet. This also has grab handles front and back that helps lifting over thresholds.I tested the power usage with an outlet meter.Power consumptionFan only - 127 wattsDehumidifier and AC – 860 watts

I picked this up for a home office that turns into a sauna by midday, and it’s been a total game-changer. For a portable unit, it pumps out a surprising amount of cold air, and it starts cooling the room down within minutes. It’s not whisper quiet, but it’s definitely quieter than I expected—it fades into the background pretty quickly, especially if there’s music or a fan going.Setup was easy enough: just roll it into place, hook up the exhaust hose to the window kit (which fits well, even in a non-standard window), and plug it in. The controls are straightforward, and the remote is a nice bonus when you're too comfortable (or lazy) to get up and adjust settings. I’ve mostly used it in cooling mode, but the fan and dehumidifier functions are nice to have too, especially during muggy afternoons.Size-wise, it doesn’t take up much floor space, and the white finish helps it blend into the room instead of standing out like a bulky appliance. It’s ideal for bedrooms, offices, or smaller living spaces—probably not meant for a huge open floor plan, but perfect for targeted cooling. If you're trying to survive summer without installing a full AC system, this little unit pulls more than its weight.

This AC unit is truly a blessing for those who do not have air conditioning in the summer, my house hold unfortunately are one of those misfortune and my poor husband is a human furnace 24/7 so it is rough for him each year.I am so happy to have had the opportunity to give this AC unit a try and it has been a night and day difference. My husband was the poor soul I appointed to put this all together and it seemed like he did so without too much of a hassle, the window design and placement was a bit of a struggle to get in the right place to stick but you just have to be patient and get the right spot to make it stick.After the window install we were basically ready to go, this is a power house of cool air. We live in a trailer and this was able to cool our very small living space which is what we were hoping for. You can choose your desired temp and it will cool it down to that level, the air can definitely be icy and it is amazing. It is super quiet compared to our standing fans which is a huge plus especially if you have kids, there is a remote provided so you can turn off or on the air anytime. The size is a little bulky but for what it does it is perfect to just sit in the corner and do its thing, the tubing provided can help you extend this unit a long ways away from the window if need which is very appreciated.Over all I am so very happy with this unit and know this summer will be better handled than any of the years before thanks to this unit, would highly recommend!
