This is an exact size for sram bb but watch out, is has a sharp edges and you’ll also need a 3/8 drive socket wrench to be able to use this.

Bought it to work with some two sided thread together style BBs but not shop quality. Thin material feels like it won’t last long. Fit and finish are fine

I am so cheap, I ordered despite the warnings in the reviews. I have a 16 slot socket from Park, but needed this 12 slot to fit my wife’s sram bottom bracket. I didn’t have any trouble with it gripping the bottom bracket during removal and reinstalling (however I agree with others that it is relatively shallow and requires more care). But I did have significant trouble getting it to fit on my 3/8” torque wrench and even more trouble removing after use, suggesting the metal is too soft and/ or not machined right. This never happened with my park socket. But so far, I am not sorry I purchased given it is 1/3 the cost and I will likely use it no more then 1 or 2 times in the future. But if you needed a tool for frequent use, I feel you really shouldn’t buy this product.

Low price. I was worried that the aluminum material would not be strong enough to loosen the bottom bracket. Worked with ratchet which I held in place with a clamp to prevent it slipping when applying torque.

Perfect for removing SRAM DUB BSA bottom bracket. Not a perfect finish on the polished version I got. Had some sharp edges but it gets the job done.

How many times have you dropped a socket? Especially a heavy, unbalanced one like this?Well, one drop and this thing is toast. There's a thin-walled section on the outside (why? I don't know) that can dent extremely easily, rendering this tool useless. The stainless steel is incredibly soft, probably improperly heat-treated.I'd recommend just buying the Park Tool one instead.

This product is not steel as it was listed. Regret buying this. First time use, the grooves already start wearing down and slides right off.

Material is very soft and the cup is very shallow. When using the cup it kept slipping and the inside notches are basically destroyed after one use. Unless you plan on just using once and trashing, I would spend and little more and get something that would last more than once.
