This is a very well made solid hoop but it's very big for indoors unless you have an extra high ceiling. As an alternative, I'd recommend one of the smaller/cheaper Chinese made hoops on Amazon and just plan on making your own backboard for it, since the backboards that come with the small hoops are flimsy and practically useless.

This is a huge, heavy basketball hoop. It looks very well made. I thought I was buying a slightly larger version of the 12.5" one that my son's friend dunked on in our living room and broke. Instead this is 15" in diameter, feels like a pro rim and is so heavy is would rip off the doorframe if we tried to put it up. 4 stars for a great product but minus one for "not what I ordered."

This is much more expensive than the previous rim that used tubular piping for the rim, thin metal for the mount and thin bars for the support and just tack welds to hold it together. Broke in 3 months. This one is built solidly. Great for the 7 inch mini basketballs for outdoor play.
