  • High quality moving mouth hand puppet made by Silly Puppets.
  • Designed for children but will fit most adult size hands.
  • Easy to move mouth and arms. Hand entry through the bottom of the puppet.
  • Height is about 14 inches tall. Lightweight at only 8 ounces.
  • Beautifully made and detailed clothes are removable.

This beautiful hand puppet measures about 14 inches tall (from head to toe). Puppets like this are not only fun- they're educational as well. Let your child's imagination soar with this great, creative, pretend play toy!
Mouths and hands are very easy to move. Simply insert your hand up the bottom of the puppet. Your pinky and thumb can be inserted into the slots on the inside of the body to operate the hands. It can be tricky at first to get everything moving at once, but the main thing is moving the mouth- which is very simple.
These puppets aren't recommended for large stage shows, but make very nice toy and budget puppets. Their high quality and attention to detail make them a very special gift.
Recommended for ages 3 and up.

The black, male fire fighter puppet, I ordered for my kindergarten class, was missing an eyelid. It was obvious that the package had been opened. The fire fighter was sqished in a ball. This black, male fire fighter was probably a return; but it was the only one left when I ordered. I opened in front of my kindergarten class. I also opened the fire fighting Dalmatian and the white male fire fighter puppet in front of the class; their packages were unopened and they were lying flat and well displayed.I explained to the students that if we sent this fire fighter back, we might not get another black, male fire fighter. The students and I decided to keep the puppet. The students really used lemons to make lemonade. There were a lot of reasons why, "Hero," had only one eyelid. He winked a lot; Hero winked hello , goodbye, and everything in between. (Evidently, he was always mid-wink.) One story went, "Hero got fire in his eye when he was rescuing two children. He was carrying each child and couldn't rub the fire out of his eye while saving the children; unfortunately, his eyelid was burned off. One Hero story says that Hero is such a dedicated fire fighter that he always has one eye open, that is searching for fires; the eye is even wide open when he's asleep.I was very disappointed because it seemed like I was purposely sent a toy that was obviously defective. Although things ended well, I WAS PURPOSELY SENT A TOY THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY DEFECTIVE!I am not a chronic complainer. I am not a complainer. However, I am sill irritated about this even though it happened over six months ago because I was purposely sent a toy that was obviously defective!

I bought my first silly puppet for teaching ESL online with VIPKID. I now have several puppets from the same company, Silly Puppets and all are dual purpose: for teaching and for playing with my kids. And despite the company name, these Silly Puppets are not so silly as each one seems like it was quite seriously made with precious care! Other puppets “off brand” may come cheaper but they don’t really compare for quality. We have some nice Melissa & Doug animal puppets but cannot recommend their not as good looking people puppets. My son specifically asked for this fireman puppet after we had exhausted our collection of boy and girl puppets. The detail on this puppet is so good, it’s uncanny. My son is 4 years old and he can easily manage the puppet and move its mouth. I am 38 and I can stick my hand in it easily to move it around. My husband’s hand said it felt a little tight but there’s room to “grow” without breaking the puppet.
