1. Does this lift cylinder fit my chair?
In most cases, this Gas Cylinder Tube is applicable to most Executive chairs and stools.We still recommend that you measure your original cylinder size before purchasing.）
2. How to choose the size?
6.5 "stroke lift cylinder is a common size for most chairs and stools. Please refer to the size in the picture. If you want to replace the stroke lift cylinder with the same height, this is usually the most appropriate.
10 "stroke lift cylinder, this is usually used for bar stool chair and drafting stool for replacement.
3. How to replace the old gas lift cylinder
Usually you may need to use a hammer to take out the old gas lift cylinder from chair base and replace it with a new one. (We suggest you search for "gas lift replacement" on youtube for instructions)
4.Weight capacity
Weight capacity: 450 LBS

This is tall than a thought it is what I was looking for in a chair. My hydraulic gave out and I purchased this so happy after installing and fully raised it came to my mid chest I am 5’11” I only need to use maybe 3 “ extended and then at correct height for my I would high recomend great product
