Fairly thin wire, but the jacketed split loom makes it easy to install on boat trailers for a clean neat appearance, and the socket is mountable.Easy to install and then use a spring extension to add another layer of theft deterrent when trailers are stored.Overall happy with the harness.

This wiring kit is Awesome, very well made, the flat 4 plug connector is very solid made and is molded right into the 2 separate strands that lead out for each side of your trailer tail lights. The thicker insulated leads make it very nice over the traditional trailer wiring that is normally used and makes it more durable for use under the trailer. I added a 3’ piece of shrink tube up against the flat plug to help keep the 2 leads toed together, then I ran one down each side of trailer to my new LED taillights. I highly recommended this wiring kit.

Can feel it's quality. Nice and thick casing also. Should last well up in the rust belt.

My son is restoring an old boat trailer, and all of the wiring had to be redone. Rather than running green and yellow wires around the entire trailer with a standard wiring bundle, this harness has a set of brown and green that can go down the right side and a brown and yellow set that can run down the left side. There is also a shorter length of white ground wire that can be grounded to the tongue's frame. Each pair of wires is protected by with a thick, black insulation. We installed three amber running lights on each side, a red running light on each side toward the rear, and then the taillight assemblies. We ran the wiring through the trailer's tube frame, and everything turned out great. My only complaint is the gauge of wires is thin (18 gauge).

I needed to replace the wiring on my hitch mounted bike rack. Everything is run through the tubing so I didn't want to change that set up. I ordered the Gubrdfrsod Trailer Wiring Harness to do the job and it works for my needs. The seller clearly states that the wiring is 18G, so I knew it going in. For my needs, that was enough but, if you are using it for a trailer that gets heavy use, it might be too thin for you. Everything is protected in a thick black cover so I wasn't worried about wires getting accidentally cut. Unlike my old harness that had to be run up the middle and then split, all of the wires are split nicely into two right at the plug so it is very easy to run them one to a side.Overall I am happy with the harness. The split design makes it easy to work with and run each side by itself. For under $15, I think it's worth the price.
