happy to have found this gold tone chain necklace - especially since it states that it is stainless steel with 18k gold plating, and very affordable. I was looking for a chain that I could wear on vacation and not have to take off - I don't travel with jewelry and take just the items that I'm wearing. If it gets lost, it won't be a bother. The length can be adjusted with one of three extenders included, which I don't really care for, because they always end up slipping around to the front, and the lobster clasps (which would be easy to open and close with big fingers) are quite noticeable. Your pendant will need a larger bail for threading on to this chain.

I was looking for just a gold chain, but this having 3 different size extenders ended up being useful when I decided the ring I wanted to wear on the chain would look best hanging lower on my chest! I loved having the option of choosing how far up or down I want to wear my necklace!

A lot of the "gold" necklaces you see are made in a very shiny gold and some can look very gaudy and fake. This necklace is made in a softer gold color that is more on the brass side. I think I like the look of this more than the super shiny gold. Be aware that this necklace is on the longer side!

This looks like an old chain you find in the back of your jewelry box. The color is way off, it looks brownish to me. The link is really basic and nothing special. I don't like it.

I ordered these for my daughter‘s ankle bracelet. She needed about an inch to an inch and a half more for it to fit. These were a similar pattern and gold. I didn’t realize that this came with a necklace also. It’s a solid nice necklace. Of course it’s not real gold, but it is nice for costume jewelry. The extenders are great. They do their job and they blend in well.

Good stainless quality and color for someone who wants darker gold. I also like the necklace extender options you can use with any necklace.

Packaged securely and beautifully! Very sturdy such a nice necklace, I appreciate that it came with extenders, which is rare when you buy a piece of jewelry. It’s also made in a way that you could easily add a charm if you wanted to.
