Instructions were poorly translated, and the text on the only two buttons on the unit, "switch," and "gears/temperature," were a bit confusing. "Switch" is power on/off, and you tap "gears" multiple times to cycle through the six settings. Once you select the setting, you just leave it, and it starts heating up. It's not supposed to auto shutoff after reaching temperature for awhile, but ours shut off pretty quickly, and it took three cycles for our food to be hot. I was using it to reheat pre-cooked chicken, which I do regularly in another device, and this one wasn't as efficient. Plus, the lid is finicky. I would not use this to heat up soup on the go if you're in a car. What I do like about it is the size, and the fact that it can be used with AC or DC. It even comes with both cords. However, it has two inputs, so you need to make sure to plus the right cord into the right input socket. The stainless steel insert is deep, lightweight, and easy to wash. It also comes with a fork and spoon that are perfectly sized to fit inside the tray. It also comes with a thermal tote, but that was also really lightweight.

This lunch box is a great solution for anyone without easy access to a microwave. It came with two cords, one for a standard 110V wall outlet and one for a 12V/24V car outlet. I packed some leftover chili this morning and plugged the lunch box into the 12V outlet in my Hyundai Tucson on the way to work. The standout feature is the digital temperature display on the lid, which shows you the real-time temperature of the food as it heats up. The 80W heating element is pretty quick; it took about 25-30 minutes to get my chili steaming hot, reaching around 160°F. The 1.8L stainless steel food container is a generous size, easily holding a hearty portion. The lid has a good seal with four sturdy latches, and I had no issues with any leaks during my drive around Georgia. The set also includes a fork and spoon that store neatly in the lid, and it came with an insulated carrying bag. The stainless steel container pops right out for easy cleaning. The outer plastic shell feels durable.Based on my first use, I'm giving this electric lunch box a full 5 out of 5 stars. It's incredibly convenient, heats food quickly and evenly, and the temperature display is a fantastic feature. Being able to have a hot meal whether I'm in my car or at my desk makes a huge difference.

The outer insulated bag looked a little flimsy, but I was super impressed by the quality of the main lunch box. The hard shell case, the inner tray and the metal food bowl as well as a smaller plastic container are of very solid quality. A metal spoon and fork complete the set, along with a set of cords for plugging into DC (car) or AC (wall outlet).Depending on wether I'm bringing a hot or a cold lunch, I can keep my food at the right temperature. Cleanup is a snap, too. Everything but the actual box goes into the dishwasher. I love this lunch box!

I bought this black electric lunch box for my hubby – he’d rather eat my cooking than greasy takeout, but his 30-minute lunch break made reheating impossible. Our solution? Freeze hearty dinners (think pot roast + mashed potatoes!) the night before. He thaws it overnight, chunks the semi-frozen meal into the 1.8L stainless container, and heads to work.Plugged into his office’s 110V outlet, it heats frozen-to-piping-hot in 40-50 mins. The lid seals TIGHT with 4 heavy-duty latches – no leaks in his work bag! Outside stays cool-to-touch while food sizzles inside. We really like this lunch warmer and think it's great value for money!

I drive 12-hour rigs daily, choking down sad cold sandwiches ’cause finding hot food on the road? Forget it. Saw this black electric lunch box on Amazon and took a gamble.Prepped last night’s beef stew in the 1.8L stainless tub, plugged it into my truck’s 12V lighter while driving. 25 mins later? Steam puffing out the vent – and that stew wasn’t just warm, it was BUBBLING HOT like I’d just cooked it! Four heavy-duty latches kept it sealed tight over potholes too – zero leaks in my cab! I'm not sure how long it will last, but so far it's great.
