This stainless steel litter box is great to help reduce odor compared to plastic boxes. Its open-top, sifting design makes cleaning quick and easy. The metal build is sturdy, rust-resistant, and doesn’t retain odors like plastic boxes. It’s the perfect size for kittens and small cats, with low sides for easy access. The included scoop is a nice bonus, and the entire setup minimizes dust and mess. Cleanup is a breeze, and it stays fresher longer. It's a little smaller design compared to other steel litter boxes, but a solid choice if you have 1 cat.

I bought this hoping it would make cleaning my wood pellet litter box easier. The holes are small enough so the pellets won't fall through. There's about an inch of clearance between the top half (holding the litter) and the bottom tray which holds the leftover sawdust. The sawdust falls through to the bottom, but only about 50% of it. My cats don't move the litter a lot, so i use the scooper to move the pellets around which allows the dust to fall through. It's a nice set up and faster than sifting out the sawdust and trying to keep from wasting pellets.My only dislike about this is that the 1" gap between the grate and bottom tray isn't as large as you think - the sawdust piles up fast, so it still needs to be dumped like every other day when I was hoping it would store 3-4 days. It's a minor gripe, but maybe in the future another model could do that.

This litter box is definitely high quality! Real fancy stuff! It's large, deep, and comes with everything you need to get started: a manual, scoop, adhesive hook for the scoop, absorbent lining pads, and litter.One feature I really like is the scoop’s built-in slot that lets it rest on the corner of the box. You don’t even need to use the hook if you don’t want to, which is a nice little design detail.My cat likes it, it’s easy to clean, and there have been no bad smells so far. The only thing I’d improve is the size of the pads since they don’t fully cover the bottom of the pan. I’ll be getting larger ones once these run out.It’s not the cheapest litter box, but I think it’s totally worth the money. I’m happy with it, and more importantly, my kitty approves!

This is exactly the litter pan that I’ve been looking for.First of all, I love the stainless steel boxes. They are easier to clean and no odor is left behind. But what I really like is the metal grate pan that simply sits inside the second stainless steel pan. You simply lift the top tray out to remove the used litter pad. The top pan with the grate fits right inside the bottom pan. The 5 pound bag of litter that comes with the kit stays hard and doesn't break down and drop through the grate.The set comes with litter pads, a 5 pound bag of litter, a scoop, a hook with the option of hanging the scoop, non-skid pads and a handy user manual.I am so happy with this litter box. I think it’s a little pricey, but well worth it. Definitely recommended.My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

I wanted to try pellets and this box was the perfect solution! I have fallen in love with stainless steel boxes and so have my cats. I love how sturdy this box is. It's easy to clean. I appreciate that it came with pee pads and a 5.5lbs bag of pellets to get me started. It's very different than regular clay litter buy I find it to be a bit cleaner. I'm noticing even less smell than before. It's large enough for bigger cats to move around freely and do their business. I have found nothing sticks to it and pretty much everything wipes right off. It's very easy to use and works really well.

This stainless steel litterbox will definitely stand up to the wear and tear of daily use. I've been using a sifting litterbox with pine pellets since the first day we brought home our cat and I really like this style of box. The first one we used had the drawer underneath for the sawdust, which I hated. I switched to a plastic system more like this one and loved it, but after a couple years I'm noticing the sifting bucket is sagging and it retains the ammonia smell quite a bit. I decided to try this stainless steel version instead and so far it's doing well. I put the already used litter in along with some of the provided pellets to help my cat identify it by smell and she used it with no issues that same night.I really like that this kit includes everything you need if this is your first litterbox. The scoop provided is huge, maybe a little too big in my opinion, but it has a good amount of pellets that seem to work very similarly to pine pellets. The sifting pan is slightly shorter than the base pan so it creates a small amount of space for the sawdust to collect. I don't plan on using the pee pads provided but understand they are a popular addition to litterboxes like this. The litterbox feels quite large, but side by side with my previous one it is actually about the same.The only complaint I have is that I wish this had a second base pan, like the plastic Arm & Hammer litterbox that I had been using. By having the second base pan, it makes cleaning much easier because you can just transfer the sifting pan to a clean base pan, instead of having to either empty everything every time you clean out the lower part or find something else to set the sifter pan on to catch anything that falls out while you clean the base pan.
