Solid upgrade for dado cuts. Fits my DeWalt saw perfectly and feels durable. Only wish it locked in a little more securely. Still works great!

I have been using DeWalt DWE7490 as my main shop saw now for almost 10 years. I don't cut dados often but when I do, I appreciate having the ability to do it. This insert a perfect match. Just make sure to back out the leveling screws most of the way, remove the riving knife, and lower the blade fully. Now using a straight rule as a visual aid laid on edge on the table across the insert, adjust the leveling screws until the insert is perfectly level with the table top.The construction is plenty suitable for an insert like this. Polycarbonate with polyester will be quite durable in all sorts of weather but if you end up crashing your expensive blades into it, you won't damage your blades. Overall, this is a pretty good value for a predrilled insert.

Fits my Dewalt DWE7491 job site tablesaw perfectly. I had purchased a dado insert when I first bought my saw. This is the exact same one. Comes with leveling screws and locks in place. Very sturdy.
