As we travel we always bring the complementary items provided by the hotel or resort for the kiddos and so often the soaps are circular or in fun shapes. While the kiddos love them, I get frustrated with finding a place for them in the shower. We recently installed a walk in shower surround with a built-in shelf that is more narrow than even some of our body soap or shampoo bottles so of course, bar soaps present a challenge. These bar holders work perfectly. The soap is held out of water and able to dry between uses. The holder is not getting knocked off the shelf because it is too big. The holder is soft plastic, feels comfortable in the hand and is easy to keep clean. They look nice in the shower and hold a variety of soap shapes. Inexpensive and easy to put in or remove from shower they are a great value for the money.

Like millions of other US households, we have a (grouted-in) ceramic soap dish/holder in our shower. The problem with ours is like everything else in the house, when it was built and installed it was not properly leveled or squared. Thus, it has a slight forward pitch which causes any bar of soap placed in the holder to slide out. Needless to say, this has annoyed me for the 20 years we have lived in the house. Was hoping these Langierspur brand silicone soap holders would fix this but, alas, they did not. If you take a look at the side view photo I posted, you will see that because of the concave shape of these silicone holders, it extends just far enough from the built-in ceramic dish to create negative slope and move the center of gravity out from the middle. Add in a little water and the weight of the soap and, sure enough, it will slide right out.Used on a flat surface or shelf (see other photo) and this soap holder works great – the concave shape holds the (standard size bar) soap securely and the holder stays in place. The water drains away nicely and the elevated design allows the underside of the holder to dry as well. So, the bottom line is this, the overall effectiveness of this soap holder, and by extension your satisfaction with it, depends as much on where and how you put it to use as does the inherent design / construction of the item.Overpriced at the Amazon “list” price of $11.99 for two. Currently offered at $4.99 (late May 2025) which is what they should sell for.DISCLAIMER: I am a member of the Amazon Vine program. This means that I receive some products free of charge (but treated as income to me for tax purposes) to use and review. I only request/accept items I will actually use. My reviews are based on this real-world usage – they are not mere regurgitations of the Amazon product description or insincere hype. I am not a shill and I do not consider the fact that an item was provided without charge as part of my ratings. I have given Vine products one star, five stars, and all points in between. A defective, incomplete, dangerous, or fraudulently described item gets 1 star (zero is not an option), a below average product 2, and an average product 3. You have to earn a 4 or 5 star rating. I put serious effort into my reviews and they represent my honest, hands-on opinion of the product. My hope it they will help you make an informed, educated choice whether or not a product is right for your needs.

These are saving me tons of money in bar soap. My husband and my bars were just sitting on the wall in the shower getting water logged every time one of us took a shower. I was replacing my bars constantly because they were getting soggy and washing away. These trays came in a two pack and have been keeping our bars dry and up out of the standing water. They are silicone so you can toss them in the dishwasher to clean them. I'm happy to no longer have our very different bars of soap comingling in a puddle of water.

These are excellent soap, dishes! I love that they’re made of silicone so they’re easy to wash and you don’t have to worry about the soap disintegrating too quickly. My one criticism is really my fault because I did not realize when I ordered these that the center is solid. I have some other ones like this and there are more holes in between, which allows the water to drain better. Nonetheless, there should be sufficient space for the soap to air dry without worrying about quick disintegration. These are also very easy to rinse and Keep mold from accumulating. If mold does accumulate, you can just scrub off easily. These can also simply be throw into the dishwasher if anything gets too yucky and mucky. Definitely recommend.

These soap holders are a smart idea. I was tired of our soap bars making a huge mess on the sink or the side of the tub, so this product is a helpful solution. The water will drain from the slots so that the soap can dry and not disintegrate into a mushy puddle lol. The silicone is good stuff, it will drain the water (mostly). Not perfectly—if it’s in a really wet spot some water may sit up in it. But it serves the purpose of letting the soap dry and also from getting soap pieces stuck all over sink or tub. You can easily clean these silicone holders. They look nice in the dark gray color. The soap holders aren’t quite as big as I was expecting. They’re good enough for a standard sized bar of soap (see pic of Irish spring) but anything bigger won’t fit (unless you use it til it’s small enough lol). Not a huge deal. They serve their purpose, saving bars of soap from a mushy end.

Performs as expected. The ridges are tall enough to keep the bar of soap well above any flat surface. Water does pool a bit in between the ridges which could dry and build up if you didn’t tip it out. I have considered poking holes into the flat parts between the ridges, but then any excess water would pool under those, so I think it’s easier to just keep this silicone clean. The material is very supple. I like the white in my bathroom. Fits any size soap bar I’ve ever had and the price for two is very reasonable.
