It was fairly easy to assemble, and once the hose is attached, it creates a suction power that forces debris into the bag.Works well for cleaning my kid's pool.

The quality of the product itself is pretty good for the price but the production quality is terrible. The holes for the arm are not fully drilled so the locking piece doesn't work. This causes the pole to constantly come apart and where the pole connects to the vacuum is a terrible fit with no locking mechanism so it pulls off all the time as well.

I got this just to show my wife that it was junk, seriously. I was wrong, it actually does work! That said, this is no miracle vacuum by any means, but for my pool setup it is as good as I'm going to get unless I pay $500+. The suction isn't off the charts good by any means and the bag still allows algae to escape, but it does work and will fill a bag. If you can't add water to your pool, this is not the setup for you, the water is how it generates suction.

The top part that holds the bag pops off.. looks like it came without the gasket that would have sealed it on. It’s not strong enough to pick up leaves, and it clogs up with the stuff it will pick up. It’s more trouble than it’s worth. Spend the extra money and get a decent one

This is a great vacuum and I’m really impressed with the concept. The negative is that it does separate often and the bag comes off if I’m not careful. But for the price, I love it. If you want to suction sand, you are out of luck. It goes right through the bag.
