Removing the crisper drawers
First, remove all the partitions and items from the refrigerator. When disassembling, you can take a photo to save the sample. It will be convenient for you to restore it to its original state later.

Remove the drawer cover
Remove the drawer cover, unscrew the cover, and unplug the wires.Take care of the removed screws.

Remove the fan cover plate
Remove the cover plate that covers the fan. Expose the fan. Take care of the removed screws.

Remove the old motor
Remove the old motor and Install a new fan at the same time.

Insert the plug
Plug in the fan plug. Please note that there are water drops inside the refrigerator, please pay attention to waterproof protection when plugging in the plug

Restore the refrigerator partition
Install the removed panels andcrisper drawer back in, and plugin the power, job finished

Direct replacement for the original on our GE Profile French door fridge. Moves more air than the original, fridge is cooling great again!Symptoms were loud fan, warm upper compartment and no air flow. The cooling element ended up freezing and making the food/drink drawer freeze drinks.It’s about 8 screws (4 for the drink drawer and 4-5 for the back cover) and then you gently have to remove the cover from the cooling element. Thaw it out while you replace the fan.

Fan arrived quickly the next day and it was a perfect fit. It was easy to install and the fridge is cold and working properly. As long as it lasts for several years without going bad, it was a great value at $40 less than the OEM part. I will update if/when the fan expires. Otherwise, I’m very happy with my purchase.

My husband is very handy and was able to determine the fan in our refrigerator was bad. This replaced the old fan and we saved two ways (1) an expensive service call and (2) not having to replace our refrigerator. Thanks for making the product available for the DIY'er.

Change the fan out 2 weeks ago and the whole fridge is a good constant temperature. I could have made a video changing it but it was really not that bad. Just be careful with built up ice mine was unplugged for a day and still had ice that was holding the back cover.
