The exterior of this luggage is pretty good build quality; I would feel okay with it bouncing around the airport. The zippers on the inside could be improved, though. Around the curves they need two hands to get them moving. :( The extension handle is SUPER wobbly and could get annoying if you're trying to move your luggage in a long airport line. The wheels are good and don't get caught on the ground or road, though.

This zipperless carry on hardcase has a nice design and is sturdy despite being light-weight. The aluminum frame and corner savers gives it rigidity but the hard plastic shell keeps the weight down. Truly the only downside to this case is the fact that the dual latches have plastic latching teeth/hooks. These plastic teeth/hooks grab the metal latching point on the suitcase but I could see these teeth/hooks breaking or wearing down in the future (plastic on metal vs metal on metal). That's definitely something to keep an eye on considering there is no zipper to keep the suitcase closed. Thankfully, there are two latches.Besides that, this suit case has several other features like a built in cup holder (kind of an afterthought, but it works and can hold a coffee cup), zippered inner compartment, inner buckled straps, 3 point height adjustable handle, spring loaded carrying handles, and wheels with spring dampeners and locking brakes. There is also a small hook on the side where you could hang a plastic bag or clothing item. I also think that this suit case looks like one of those old aluminum airline suitcases from back in the day (cool if you're into retro design). Overall, a solid 4/5. Lots of nice features and time will tell with those buckles. I always carry a luggage strap with me just in case I'm forced to check-in my carry-on

I needed a new carry on and was looking for a hard side option that could replicate storage from my old zipper bag. This one looked both functional and durable, so figured it was worth a try.Composition / DurabilityI got the silver version which gives the look of a boxy metal frame, but is a stylish durable plastic that seems pretty sturdy and doesn't give too much when pressure is applied. Rather than zippers, this bag uses two buckles which are easy to latch. The buckles are of average quality but are efficient and work well. When closed, there is a rubber strip which creates a firm seal to keep your belongings secure. The compartments give you about 5.0 inches of depth on one side and just under 4.5 inches of depth on the other. So enough space for belongings for a quick getaway -- or longer I suppose depending on what you pack. Since this is a buckle system, you don't have any leeway when it comes to stuffing your case -- no zipper extender option or flexibility to push the seams of the case. Once packed, the suitcase glides like a breeze thanks to the four swivel wheels. The handle extends smoothly, although it does occasionally catch a tad when closing.Overall, the suitcase looks very trendy but also does its job to protect your items in transit. I've used it on one cross country trip so far and it fit fine in the overhead bin. Not sure how it would do if you had to check it, but personally I'd have no worries. Perhaps the only downside of the case is that is does weigh a bit more than other carry on cases when empty -- close to 8 pounds. US airlines don't typically require you to weigh carry ons, but it's not uncommon with international airlines if it's a turboprop plane, and sometimes the weight limits are on the low side. So you might miss those few extra pounds.

Ok. I took many pics to show you this case. The case itself is a great lightweight case, almost to the point that you may think it is flimsy. However, it is a carry-on so will survive. Wouldn't survive if checked I think. Has 2 combo locks on top and can also be carried briefcase style with the side handle. As a weird bonus on the back in upright position you get a cup holder that you can put a soda can or a water bottle. The interior has a zippered divider to sort items separately. What makes it a 4 star is the wheels. They do have locks on the ones with the springs and those locks do work. What doesn't is the springs. They are just for show there is no compression. So, keep that in mind. Overall, for me though for all the features and it being lightweight and easy to lift and store overhead I give it 4 stars.

I couldn’t be happier with my UrbanExplorer carry-on! This suitcase strikes the perfect balance between functionality, durability, and style. The size is absolutely ideal for all major airlines—I’ve flown with several and had zero issues fitting it in overhead compartments. The interior layout is extremely thoughtful. I love the two main compartments with the compression straps—it keeps everything neat and prevents shifting during travel. The waterproof pocket is a lifesaver for toiletries or damp items, and the quick-access zip pocket is perfect for travel documents or snacks. The built-in cup holder is a surprisingly convenient touch! The 360° silent spinner wheels glide effortlessly on all surfaces—from airport floors to cobblestone streets. I was also impressed by the sturdy TSA lock, which adds an extra level of security without hassle at security checkpoints. What really stands out is the quality of construction. The alloy corner guards give me confidence that this suitcase will hold up over time, and after several trips, it still looks brand new. The 3-year comprehensive support program is just the icing on the cake.Highly recommend this carry-on for frequent travelers or anyone needing a reliable, well-designed travel companion!
