These things are great. Some bulk cord and these - they're stiff enough - make great custom bungee cords for battening down the tarps around the property for our (Phoenix = wimpy) storms.

you really need a added crimping pliers to bind the ends of the bungie cords, to hold them un the hooks.

I like that they are plastic coated, and have a rubber tip on them. They work well for what I need.
