Bought this 230 W charger for travel and it behaves like the original Acer brick—fast charging, stays cool, snug connector, and nice long cord with strap. Saved at least half compared to OEM. Only tip: just confirm it’s 19.5 V with the right plug size for your model. Highly recommend!

Works fine with my Acer Nitro. Seems to be able to handle the rated power. Gets warm but not too hot. Same as any other power supply/ charger

I wanted to get a backup charger so I could take my laptop with me, but leave a charger plugged in at my desk so I don't have to keep dragging the charger around. And of course to have as a backup if something happens to the original. So far this one seems to be perfect for my Nitro 5 laptop. Charging speeds seem to be comparable to the original. The box can get a little warm, but so does the original one. It works well and I'm happy with it.

I grabbed this as an upgrade to the stock 135w power supply that comes with the Nitro V 15, and I'm quite happy with it. The stock power supply runs extremely hot, to the point that it almost feels like it could burn you during a long gaming session. That isn't a problem with this unit, although to be fair the Nitro V 15 only uses a bit over half the power this brick is rated for, so it is possible it may run a bit hotter with a more power hungry laptop. It charges the laptop just fine and was instantly recognized as charging when plugged in. I wish the included power cable was longer, but it's a standard PC style cable, so it'd be extremely easy to get a longer cable if needed. Build quality wise, the brick feels well built and the cable is decently thick and should hold up as long as you aren't abusing it. The pricing is also quite reasonable.Overall, I am happy to recommend this.

I bought this for my Predator Helios Neo laptop. It works for 5 minutes then overheats and stops working. Definitely not worth the money, this was expensive for something made so poorly.

To keep it brief, this charger was ordered as a backup to keep on hand for later, but has become my primary charger due to it supplying a little extra power and seemingly charging my laptop a bit quicker. So far everything checks out and is working well, without any issues or errors.It get a bit warm when charging, but that is pretty standard and not an issue with the charger. functionally good and a bargain for the price. I am so far completely satisfied with it. 5 stars all around from me on it.

I got this because it listed my laptop model in the description. I'm a bit concerned though. While this charger is rated at 230W, the charger that came with my laptop is 280W. The output voltage and polarity are correct. The Acer Care app which you can download from their website has a battery calibration section and I ran it through that with this charger. I think if I was going to play a demanding game on the laptop, the charger may not be able to keep up, or charge the battery at the same time. I'm also getting this from tech websites about underpowered chargers. The power cable fit correctly, it is not loose. It is a right angle connection which I like. Since this one is only rated to 230W but lists my laptop as compatible, I'm only giving 4 stars. However in the future if I notice that it works fine during heavy gaming, I'll update my review.
