First off… I can’t tell about the longevity of this item it being constantly exposed to water and moisture. What I can’t say is that my son has really enjoyed playing with this remote control shark in our bathtub and small pool. It is kind of annoying to change the battery because you have to unscrew the secure battery door, but that is required to make sure the electronics don’t get damaged. It’s nice that it comes with two batteries to make sure the fun can continue even after one runs dead.It can take a little bit getting used to steering. The two separate joysticks both either go forward or backward operating the propulsion fans. To do tight turns you do one forward and one back or to do a gentle turn. It’s just one forward. That can take some getting used to for younger children but my son picked it up rather quickly.Design and build quality are both good and it’s fun. It does spray water out of the top of it much like you would think a whale would, however, this is not a whale so though it’s a fun feature it’s anatomically incorrect… But it’s a toy, so who cares.My son really enjoys it.

We bought the JUKUDAHU Remote Control Shark for our 5-year-old, and it has been an absolute blast! This thing is awesome! As soon as I got it, I put it in the pool to mess with our cats. Their eyes were glued on this thing as it swam around the surface of the pool. I'm so glad it is rechargeable, too, so I don't have to mess with batteries. The compartment is waterproof, so I'm not worried about getting water in it, either.I'm not joking, I highly recommend this based solely on quality, but even more so if you have animals and a water source. The way it moves is very realistic and I suspect you'll keep their attention when it's in the water. I thought about breaking it out when my four-year-old niece was over, but I genuinely think she might have thought it was real and got scared.We won't leave it in the pool all the time, but I definitely want to use it often. It's too fun to watch the cats watching the shark move smoothly through the water.

This is a really cool toy, My boys love it! Shark is pretty big, and looks cool. It really does swim! It pairs really fast and easy, after batteries are installed, put shark in water and the white light comes on on it, turn on remote, red light on remote will flash a bit to pair, then turns off and its paired. Shark light turns blue. It swims and shoots water out the top of its head. Has a demo mode that makes it swim in all directions and shoot water, pretty cool. My only issues with this is the controls are a bit odd. It has two sticks, but the left makes it move left when held up, and reverse left when held down, same as other direction, but right. It moves forward/back but in the associated direction, and arches, doesn't go straight back or forward, and requires a large play area, tubs can be fun, but for the best experience, a big body of water like a pool is best as it moves in a wide pattern. Other than that, cool concept but could be improved. Still fun and keeps the kids entertained.

We live in sunny FL and frequent the pool often. When I saw this remote controlled shark toy, I figured it would be great for my 5yo son to play with in the pool - and we couldn't be happier with it. For starters, everything arrived well packaged and free of any visible signs of damage, which I appreciate. Setup is easy - the shark comes with two battery packs (which, kudos on including a spare!) - and a remote control that takes two AA batteries. My son was so excited to use it when it first arrived, and surprisingly, the battery pack that was installed already had a charge to it, so we were able to use it right away! He absolutely LOVES it, and refuses to go to the pool without it. It's easy for him to operate and swims around just like a shark would on the surface of the water. And I'm honestly quite impressed with how long it keeps it's charge for... he's brought it to the pool several times without it needing a charge. When submerged, it will siphon out the water from the top of the shark, which I thought was a neat feature. I will say, initially I thought the price point for this might be a little high, but after seeing how well it's worked and how much my son enjoys playing with it, it's well worth the investment. And while it's been great for the pool, I can also see it being really fun for bath time as well. It would make a great birthday or Christmas gift, and I would recommend it without hesitation.

This remote control water shark is such a cool toy. It has been hours of fun for everyone. We have enjoyed hours of play time with Sharkey in the bath tub and in the swimming pool. Makes a great birthday gift! I would totally recommend!
