A little difficult to put on, but after some effort they work great. Slide without leaving marks. Sometimes cracks, so use a rubber mallet if hammering into place

Works great on covered porch furniture. Especially since we just painted the porch, no scratches at all.

I do not recommend these. They would not fit in my chair legs. They are too big. My micrometer measured them at 1.52 inches. I went to my local hardware store and bought some. They measured 1.5 inches and were easy to install. It might seem like such a small difference, but it makes a big difference. I've been replacing these things for over 25 years and never had an issue until I purchased these.

I boiled these in water to soften them a bit, but they still were tough to get in. Until I realized if I just scraped off the side ridges on them on a cement walkway or something like that, it was just enough to make it fit perfectly. Easy peasy trick! I also applied a tad of WD40 which also helped.

Seems to be good quality, at least in the short term. A mallet is needed to drive these in. They can be difficult to drive in. But the key is to start them straight all the way around. I expect these to last for years

We have several wrought iron sets that are 10+ years old. These caps are perfect to replace the old ones. I would have ordered sooner if I had know they existed.
