These clips do tighten and bite onto tarps but the size seams too small to weather storms or high winds. One of the screw tighteners failed as I tighten it down. Much too much trouble to return, so I will use in light easy appications.

Does not hold. The clips kept falling off before I could even hang it up. The screw clamps don’t stay tight. I can see them unwind and fall off. Cheap don’t wast your money and time. Heavy duty not!!! Great idea but poor craftsmanship.

Clips were perfect. They made the project I was working on so much easier. I loved the adjustable compression feature. It worked very well.

Maybe I received a bad batch? When I turn the knob to lock it down all it does is click and not tighten down at all.Would work if tarp was 1/4 thick along the edges but alas, my tarp is a standard tarp that is only 20mil thick.Needs to be re-engineered. Returning them for a refund

I love them, this is not my first purchase for these items. I have been using them to install sun shade fabric on my raised beds and a friend's boat. I used another batch to install sun fabric at my house. I love that they do not tear the fabric, in addition, since it's for a shade awning, the tensions are much higher than in my previous applications. They hold onto the fabric without tearing it. A change from the sun awning I have tried where the grummets pulled out and teared the fabric.

These little clamps hold tarp in place No slipping or ripping. I used to stretch tarp over a trampoline (home made frame). Would buy again!
