These "paintings" are snazzy! I used them with my elementary age kids at church doing an "animal" lesson. They loved them! Then they got to take them home and "paint" them again if they want since they are reuseable. I did purchase some more inexpensive brushes so everyone could have one. They were able to pick out which painting they wanted to do. Not too messy, since it's just water. (I put some towels on the table to make easy clean-up if there were any water spills and/or drips. All-in-all they were a big success. (Photos show before & after.) You just brush with water and the details of the "painting" pop out. Then when it dries you can barely see the "painting.".

I tried doing this with my grandma who has dementia. She didn't quite follow doing it on her own, but she enjoyed watching me do it thoroughly. My whole family enjoyed it actually, while we spent a good portion of the day using these for entertainment. It comes with a paint brush and in a nice box to store the pictures and keep them flat. I was wondering how they could be re-usable and it's because when the water dries on the paper, it turns back to white again and although the paper isn't in the original "condition" they definitely can be used again. The colors are very vibrant and beautiful. We all had fun painting these and feeling like professional artists :)

We really like having these large pictures for our elderly relatives. You get plenty designs in the box and 1 very big brush to paint on the water. This product sure takes away the mess that is usually associated with painting pictures. Just supply the person with a small cup of water to brush onto the picture. The pictures themselves are thick and sturdy to withstand a good amount of wear. Plenty of very nice color designs to delight anyone. Even kids will like doing these pictures as they do not get messy with them. Exceptional idea for an activity with no mess!

I was thrilled that these paint pics came on the day I was watching my sister! Diagnosed with Alzheimer's 4 years ago, she also suffered a stroke this past year. Recovery has been hard and slow and her life has changed drastically.She used to paint so when I saw this set I had to get it for her. There is a good variety of subjects and settings to choose from and we grew up on a farm so I started with this one first.The brush is flat allowing the water to spread. and the brush handle is thick so it was easy for her to handle. The quality of the brush suits it's purpose but I found that the brush my kit came with left streaks so it took multiple strokes to complete a section. I also think it might be helpful to texturize the brush since it is smooth and slips occasionally out of hand. For my sister, I tried masking tape first before finding that a rubber band worked better.The paper is made well and does not soak up the water or seem like it will tear or wrinkle with multiple uses.It took over 30 minutes for the picture to evaporate in which time my sister was able to complete another picture before showing she was getting tired.This was a relaxing activity for her that also allowed us to talk about memories growing up. It was one of the few times I've seen my sister smile since her diagnosis.The set is a winner in my book and I think anyone from 5-100 would enjoy watching their paintings come alive.

This is a great activity for seniors with dementia or cognitive issues. This is a set of 24 water painting pictures that, once you brush with water, reveal the picture so there is no actual painting involved. This was my first experience with this type of activity, and it was such a joy! I can definitely see how beneficial this could be for people with cognitive issues.I've attached pictures at various stages. The initial picture, while it looks completely blank, is slightly visible so you can pick which picture you're like to "paint". I used the included brush and brush on a section of the picture which is attached. And then finally, the completed picture. The pictures are bright and beautiful and will give a lift to anyone who "paints" them!!I would caution, however, not to use too much water! While these pictures are reusable (once they dry out the pictures goes away again), I did over-saturate one corner and the picture stuck to my table and started to tear slightly on the edge when I tried to get it off!Overall, it's a great activity!!

These are so great.I got these for our memory care residents, and they are a big hit. You just paint on them with water and a small paint brush, and the painting comes alive. They can be used over and over again, because once it totally dries the color goes away. These would also be perfect in a little kids class room.

This set is a simple and fun activity. The set comes with a paintbrush and 24 paint with water pictures. The quality is really impressive. These look much better than the typical children’s paint with water sets. The paper is thick and glossy. The image can be completed in just a few minutes with no mess using only water and a brush. It dries quickly and the image fades again once dried. It could be disappointing or confusing to some to have the picture fade away, but on the other hand that allows for it to be done multiple times over. This activity is intended for senior citizens, but could be enjoyed by multiple ages, and would be fun to do in a group.
