I installed about 10' of this hose in a show (not 4-wheeled) Jeep CJ7 (1979) and with in 18 months, the hose leaked in a section 2 feet from the engine. I replaced that section of hose and now 24 months from initial install, the hose is leaking in another section of the hose. The fuel used in this vehicle was basic pump fuel and not under high fuel injection pressure. If you like your car and want to stay alive, don't buy this product.

When the hose is cut the steel braid opens up like a mushroom. Makes it a bit difficult to install. Overall good product.

I put this line side-by-side with the stuff from Summit. Yeah, this stuff is a LOT less expensive. But it is a LOT more rigid too. Luckily, I decided to use bulkhead fittings so i don't have to make sharp bends with this stuff. Also, the braid looks a lot less "stainless" than the braid of the Summit stuff. It's only a visual thing as I really don't have a way to test the content of the metal--just an observation. Also, the braid is more difficult to cut than the Summit stuff and wants to frey more easily making it more difficult to install connectors.

If you have never used braided hose then watch a YouTube video first. Its not easy to work with but its the way they all are.
