I know a common issue with adjustable weights like these is often the clinking or clacking noise they tend to make when using them. I've got to say, not with these! I'm able to curl with 33lbs which leaves 4 plates on the bar, and I can do the whole 55lbs doing bench pulls (or whatever that third photo is called) and in neither scenario do these plates clink or clatter much. It's so little it's honestly negligible unless you're working out in a dead silent room.They highlight the grips on the listing, and I will say, the grips feel very nice in the hand and inspire confidence while using, even bare handed. Also very easy to twist and adjust the weights. These are not light weights in case you're wondering what weight options to get. Good for a medium build person looking to build up, I'd say, but probably far too light for someone who's already an established body builder. To put it into perspective, if this is a perspective for anyone, my e-scooter that's capable of going nearly 30mph weighs the same as this. Most average sized people would not carry that size scooter around, instead would roll it.If anyone is concerned about safety using these adjustable weights, I can assure you, they will stay assembled as long as you follow instructions and pay attention. There's an arrow pointing to the weight number on either side of the dumbbell, when you twist, there's a distinct interlock you're looking to fall into on each number. As long as you don't try to lift it in an in-between point, you should be good safety-wise.Overall, very good set, better than I expected, good quality materials, confident usability, and very easy to set up out of the box.

Very nice dumbbells, well balanced, ergonomic and easy to set between 11,22,33,44,and 55 lbs with a simple yet commanding twist of the handle. There's a slight rattle with every disc in its own slot, but not to a point of affecting weight distribution or causing distraction. The discs are never in contact with each other, so no metal to metal rattle.Good set.

This adjustable dumbbell is great as far as being able to swivel and add/drop weight. Easily done with one hand. The one drawback is that for some movements (for example when trying to hold the dumbbell not by the center grip but by the ends), the dumbbell is not the most comfortable in my hands.

I like this dumbbell a lot. They're comfortable to grip and easy to adjust. The weight feels good, and the workouts feel great! I think it's important to note that these aren't clean 5 lbs differences in weight, but that the weight adjustment moves from 11 lbs, to 22 lbs, to 33 lbs, up to 55 lbs. Not a big deal, as the differences are negligible, but I think it's important to point out for sticklers.As the weight is up to 55, this is perfect for beginners all the way up to intermediate weightlifters and bodybuilders. 55 lbs is a great goal to hit, and you can work a lot of volume with this weight range. I'll probably get a second so I can have a matching set.Recommended!

These are really nice 55-lb dumbbells... and the packaging is top notch.. everything arrived without any scratches or dent. The simple twist mechanism locks the desired weight plates... you can go from 11lbs all the way to 55 lbs. Once locked, the plates will not fall off during exercises like overhead tricep press. Good value for money!

This has been a great buy, it's very easy to adjust the weight on the dumbbell to increase or decrease intensity of your workout. Thanks to this I have been able to get a few extra sets at home on the days I usually exercise my biceps, and can already notice a difference on the weight I can lift when I go to the gym.Overall, I think the quality is great and would recommend this to anyone looking for having dumbbells with different weight levels, without having to spend so much as it would cost to buy them all individually.

This adjustable dumbbell is a great addition to my home gym. The dumbbell is very easy to use, just turn the knob to change the weight One of the biggest things is that they take up very little space. I can put multiple sets of dumbbells in a compact design instead of making my space look.
