After receiving the product, I realized my two 24" doors required a bar longer than 48". Additionally, I initially overlooked that this hardware kit does not drape over the top front of the door like many other bi-fold hardware kits. However, my observations ended up working in my favor. I successfully installed the doors on the 48" bar provided. The stop clip installation was somewhat restricted in placement, and I preferred not to trim my doors to fit within the 22-23" range, but I managed to get everything set up.One crucial detail is the positioning of the floor hardware for the fixed door. It must be installed carefully to ensure the fixed door remains vertical; otherwise, the bottom corner of the swinging door may slightly bump into the wall trim when opening and closing the doors. I had a 1 ¾” gap at the bottom of my doors, and instead of using the included floor hardware, I opted for a square pipe clamp with a 2” screw fed through the center into the hole drilled into the fixed door. I’ve seen several online videos demonstrating an alternative method where people use a wood block to attach the fixed door floor hardware.I appreciate how most of the hardware—aside from the rollers on top—is discreetly hidden, allowing the door itself to stand out visually. Because of this, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hardware to others.
