When I first inspected the water bottle it appeared to be very clean and did not have any strange odors which is often the case with products like this made in China, which is listed on the bottom of the box. Before using the bottle I hand washed it and found it easy to clean and once filled I turned it upside down and did not see any leaks even after shaking the bottle. So I'm glad to see the bottle is water tight.I tried drinking from both the built in spout and the round cap and both are easy to use but I personally prefer the round opening. The bottle came with straws, stickers and a cleaning brush. The extras are a nice touch but I don't see me using either straws or stickers but I'm sure the cleaning brush will come in handy.I filled the bottle with ice water and so far, on this really hot day as I work outside, it has kept my water ice cold. I tried placing the bottle in the cup holders in my Kia Sorento and it fit perfectly and the rubber boot provides a nice grip to keep the bottle from slipping out around tight corners or sudden stops. The boot is also a nice touch when placing the bottle on furniture to prevent the type of possible damage that an unprotected metal bottle could cause. Another nice feature is the flip up handle that makes it easy to carry the bottle or it can also be used to hang the bottle if desired.Overall I think this is a well designed and constructed water bottle and considering all the great features I think its priced very competitively.
