  • This tool is compatible with most standard 5mm and 5.5mm hydraulic hoses, including those used in Shimano, SRAM, Magura, and TEKTRO systems. It may not be suitable for oversized or proprietary hoses from less common brands.

  • No assembly is required. The tool comes fully assembled and ready to use right out of the box. Just insert the hose and follow the instructions to complete the installation.

  • The included hose cutter is specifically designed for bicycle hydraulic hoses. While it may work with similar soft plastic or rubber tubing, it is not recommended for use with fuel lines, metal-reinforced hoses, or industrial-grade tubing.

  • Yes! This tool is very beginner-friendly. With simple instructions and a user-friendly design, even first-time users can easily and safely install hydraulic needles.

  • This tool is suitable for most mountain bikes (MTB), road bikes, gravel bikes, and e-bikes that use hydraulic disc brakes. It works with popular systems from Shimano, SRAM, Magura, and TEKTRO.

Needed to replace my rear brake. Knew it was time to do my first swap and brake bleed...The cutter was awesome! Had no issue cutting the cables cleanly and the needle/barb insertion went as s one would hoped. twisting is a little awkward holding it but for what it is, worked great!

I recently upgraded to the hydraulic brake lines on my road bike. I had never worked with hydraulics on a bike before and let me tell you it did take some time. But in my opinion it is well worth it they are extremely strong and you don't feel the cable giving a little when you brake. This kid was really nice for the pushing of the internal pipe nipples.
