Mostest of the parts fit my carburator for my 82 gl500i. The float needle was correct, and the accelerator pump and idle diaphragms were correct. The jets were correct, but I wish they were labeled. I had to research to figure out which jet was correct. And the long needle going from the upper diaphragm to the jet was slightly short. Wasnt very happy as to how the bowl gaskets were packaged. They were crumpled up and needed warmed up and flattened out to make install easy

This brother was worth the price. I was very happy that I was able to replace most all of the parts from the old carburetor to the new carburetor. There are some receptions as to the exact match but it’ll do the work for the carburetors on a Honda CX 500. I am very happy to recommend this product and, you shouldn’t have any issues with the new one and the old one

Good value. The air cut off set didn’t click into place like OEM 1980 Honda cx500. It causes backfiring, so left original in place. The bowl rings come folded so will require a like gasket sealer to hold in place. I found the main jets varied slightly from OEM - just a little larger. Otherwise, all the springs, rubber, brass are of good quality
