I got a new paddle whose handle grip has no tackiness at all. So I got these replacement grips. The tackiness is very good on these. The grip has a narrow strip of foam underneath which results in a grip with ridges once installed. I wasn't sure if I'd like the feel of the ridges. I was afraid they might interfere with my fingers. To my pleasant surprise, the ridges actually work well. The grip was comfortable and my fingers laid naturally between ridges, which gave me a more secure hold on the paddle. Also, I had no problems changing between forehand and backhand.Installation was straight forward. In fact, the strip of foam helps a a guide as you wrap, giving nice, even overlaps.Note that if you use these as an overgrip, they'll increase the overall circumference of your handle. So if you need a wider circumference, these will work well as an overgrip. Otherwise, just use these as replacements. For $10 a pair, the value is not bad.

This is a pack of two pickle ball paddle handle grip tapes. Also included are two bands for securing the tape. This is designed to replace a worn or damaged grip tape. You first remove your old tape and any residual adhesive left behind on the handle. Then you take the narrow tapered end of the grip tape and begin wrapping it around the end of the handle continuing in a spiral fashion until you reach the upper part of the handle where it meets the paddle. You can trim the tape to fit, I usually do it on an angle so it is hidden. Then apply the black rubber band around the handle to secure the grip tape in place. You may also use the included strip of black peel off adhesive tape to assist holding the grip tape in place. I like this grip tape because it has a foam strip in the middle that creates a raised area that spirals up the handle, giving your fingers an extra place to hold on. This reminds me of the Hockey tape method that has a cord wrapped around the tape.

I've used a bunch of different overgrips for my pickleball paddles over the past few years, including those from major brand names, and this is the best one I've used so far. On the underside of the grip tape there is a thin foam strip that provides a pronounced ridge effect on the grip, making it easier to establish a more secure grasp on the handle (something I really need as a petite woman with small hands). In each packet there is enough overgrip tape to cover even the longest handle/grip - I have a standard size handle and you can see from the picture that there was plenty of overgrip tape left over after I applied it to my paddle. The packet also comes with a couple of thick rubber bands to hold the top of the overgrip tape in place (which I didn't use as I already had one on my paddle). The instructions are on the back of the packet and to be candid they could be better. If you've never put on overgrip tape before, you start out with the most narrow/pointed section of the overgrip tape at the bottom of your handle and work your way up. It is very easy to apply once you have the right end to start with. The overgrip tape has a pleasant cushiony feel when playing, and I believe it is absorbing some of the shock/vibration when the paddle makes contact with the ball. I liked the bright blue color which will definitely help my paddle stand out in a crowd.

This wrap is an excellent solution for you racket wrap needs. Worked perfectly for my needs. I especially liked the additional end pieces that came with the kit that could be heated and molded tight to ensure the wrap does not undo itself after installation. Great price, great results, and overall great product.

Haven’t used yet, but I’m thankful we have a backup pair for when the time comes for us to need them. Means we can keep on pickling on! Color is a bright blue. Stuck them right into our pickleball bag for when the time comes. Texture is great for grip! Thankful there is one for both of us!

I've been getting into pickleball for the past year and was looking into a new grip since my last one wore out over time (I also might've done a poor job applying it lol). Regardless, I was a fan of the proper ventilation/moisture control built into this particular one, with the perforations, so my grip felt strong even when I'd be sweating. Personally I was a fan of the color-- something vibrant but not too punchy. As for the build quality, it feels premium, and as good as you'll get without breaking the bank. It was pretty simple to apply (a YouTube video never hurts), and I had mine on in just a few minutes. I strongly recommend it if you want an affordable grip renewal for yourself and have sweaty hands like me!

The description of this item was a bit confusing. It was described as both a paddle "replacement grip" and "over-grip". They are 2 different things, but I suppose it can be used for either purpose, depending on your situation. In my case, my existing pickleball paddle grip was starting to show wear and tear. I wanted to remove and replace it. Over-grip is usually thin and simply applied over your existing tape to either make it thicker and/or to give the user a better feel. This item is thicker and has a small cord installed in the center of the tape to make it "ridged' when applied. I soon realized applying this to my existing handle tape would make the diameter too large for my taste, so I removed my existing tape and applied this one. It worked out well in the end, although the included instructions for application are woefully inadequate, especially if this is your first time attempting this. I have done a couple over the years, but I always need to refresh my memory on how to do it correctly. I had to look elsewhere for instructions, which is disappointing. Otherwise, getting 2 grips provides a good value for the price, and the grip itself is even better than the factory applied one I was using on a fairly expensive paddle, so I am happy with the result.
