I was a little disappointed with these replacement bags. They are not as tightly woven as the original bag that came with my Pool Blaster Catfish Ultra. That said, they will only capture larger debris, especially leaves. However, using a finer mesh filter sock inside the filter bag will allow it to capture smaller debris. The bag is a few inches shorter than the original. This means the bag will hold about 20% less waste than the original Pool Blaster bags. The rubber seal is a tight fit, but so was the bag that first came with my Pool Blaster. A snug fit is okay.Conclusion: These bags failed to meet my expectations and, in doing so, received a three-star review from me. If the filter media had been tighter and been the same size as the original, I would have given it four stars. They are reasonably priced.

Many of the filters like this are very tight filter mesh which is good for cleaning fine sediment, but clogs up fast.This bag is best when going after leaves and other bigger debris. It keeps good suction for cleaning the big bits and lets the fine sediment pass for the main pool filter to catch.
