The horn sounds like a car horn, the wiring harness is complete and covered in a protective sleeve to route thru the firewall. The horn is a plastic material and should be mounted away from a heat source. The horn button mounted on the dash by drilling a hole to accommodate the button. I mounted this on an older tractor and needed to extend the wire to the horn by approx two feet. I am pleased with the purchase, it is a very simple horn, which is what I wanted.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED to install ,I installed this on one of my golf carts , works great, its LOUD an PROUD. lets cars know you are there, sounds like a car,can mount anywhere, 12 volt , 2 amp when button is pressed
