Nice skimmer baskets. These skimmer baskets seem well made and have an attachable handle. The handle seems to work well and aids in adding a little extra weight to keep basket in place. The set came with a bonus stainless steel hook to help pulling out the baskets when needed. The hook is handy if you don't want to get your hand inside the water when you have small bugs floating on top. Overall fairly priced and well made!

this item came boxed well. It did not come with instructions. The quality is good. I was looking forward to a blue basket as pictured when I purchased it, but the basket is white and the handle is blue. Assembly is self-explanatory, but not problem free. I had to cut some of the plastic on the basket to make room so that the holes on the handle assembly and the screws would line up. this was not extremely difficult for me, but I am handy. Overall, would recommend this product if you’re capable of assembly without instructions and able to cut one or two plastic pieces to make the screws work. this would be five stars if it had been the color advertised, came with instructions, and it was easier to assemble.

These skimmer baskets are much needed for my swimming pool. I got them to replace an old broken one. I am glad that they come as a set of two because it is always good to have an extra one just in case. The baskets are well made, of the right size, feel durable and I do not have any complaints about workmanship. The loop and the hook make it easier to remove a basket for cleaning.

AMAZING!!! I hate reaching into the skimmer to get the basket and the handle is broken or not sturdy enough to pull up the basket. Too often, other basket handles fall out of the small side holes and break or crack. This basket has a large handle that is screwed into the side at the height of your choosing. I mounted mine higher so that it sticks out of the water and is easy to grab. Assembly is easy and fast with the provided screws and washers. It is also very sturdy. It comes with a metal hook if needed as well. I have never so eagerly emptied the skimmer multiple times a day now! It's also easy to dump the basket with the handle. You get 2 baskets and I use the other without a handle to place in the skimmer when vacuuming, since the handle gets in the way. Highly highly recommend.

These baskets came with no directions but we're still easy to assemble. I put the handles high on the baskets so I wouldn't have to reach as far to get the baskets. It is extremely nice that I don't have to reach into the water to get the basket out. And I love the blue color. This makes it easy to find the chlorine tabs (white) to pull out before dumping.

These are nothing too special, just replacement baskets as the older ones invariably break over time. I like the set up of the handle on these compared to the one that is down in the basket because that style sometimes gets debris over it and makes it hard to grab (or scary to grab if you don't know if there are spiders/snakes down in that debris). This one stays stuck out of the water so its much better, you can hook it with your finger or the supplied hook and pull it right out.

I got this skimmer basket for my Hayward skimmer intake. The basket fits in the opening...my pool is about 40 years old. The redesigned handle is sturdier than the old style. It is very strong, versus the old style cross brace handle sometimes pulling out. The only negative that I find is that is not compatible with using a Skim More fine strainer mesh sock.
