It was so excited to get these, I knew I had to have maple leaf hand towels. They even match my bathroom colors. That is entirely happenstance but a happy surprise nonetheless. The manufacturer instructions for restoring the towels from the vacuum sealed shipping bag are beyond anything I do with my regular towels. They ask that before use you must:- Handwash in 75 degree water- Use a cap full of softener to rinse with- Add vinegar to the final handwash rinse- Throw a couple ice cubes in for added softness- Do not wring the towels- For drying you should stretch the towels to avoid distortion in the band and towel bodyGood lord. I do not live the tradwife life. I also don't think my ice would survive in 75 degree water all that long. I did satisfy my curiosity by handwash these by themselves. Then rinsed in cold water and hung to dry. I did straighten the bands once. All in I will say I could have thrown them in the delicate cycle with warm water and been just fine. I did notice the bands shrank after they dried but it's cotton and a natural fiber that is known to shrink. I was disappointed but the snag on arrival but they're machine knitted and lose loops will catch on anything remotely protruding. I am somewhat disappointed they have a bit more yellow tone than neutrality of gray and white should. Let's call it cream and make sure potential buyers know.

2.5 stars if it was available. One towel arrived damaged.🙂 Soft 100% cotton🙂 Words "Good Morning" are crisp😐 A bit narrower than US hand towels🙁 Low stitch per inch at the hems☹️ One towel came damaged with unraveling stitches at the hem and a large pulled thread in the middle - I basically got one good towel.
