I like that these are large and light weight. They hold up well in the dishwasher and we've had no issues with any finishes or the shape changing. The plates sit flat and are sturdy. The material is very similar to melamine plates but thinner and lighter. They seem to be very durable, and we've not had any issues with breaking or chipping. We've been for several weeks now and very pleased.

I wanted an alternative to plastic plates for my kids and these have worked out great! The lip around the side comes up a little more than expected but, still fits in my dishwasher with no problem. Also, I didn't know before but, bamboo is not supposed to be microwaved. It isn't an issue for me, as I try to use the microwave as little as possible anyway, but for those that do not know, these are not recommended for microwave. The colors are great and the plates have held up well so far.

I didn't look close enough at the listing, so I wasn't expecting these plates to be so large. When I think of "toddler plates" I usually think of plates that are miniature. These ones are pretty much as big as a dinner plate; 10 inches, like the listing says.Right now, these are too big for my toddler to use well. They don't fit on her high chair tray. However, these will be great for our nieces and nephews, and for my toddler when she gets older and graduates to the table. The plates' lip helps ensure that food doesn't slide off the edge for kiddos who are still getting accustomed to eating with utensils.I think these could also be great outdoor/picnic plates for adults! I think we've all experienced a messier-than-normal meal when you try to eat off your plate, set in your lap, and food ends up slipping everywhere. These are the perfect plates to avoid that. If you don't mind the pastel colors, this could be your new outdoor-table set!

These plates are nice and large, so they hold a good amount of food without being heavy or clunky. The edges come up high enough to stop food from slipping off, which is also great. I really like these, and the subtle color variety too. I feel good about cutting our toddlers food on these plates vs plastic ones, for health reasons.

These plates have a nice look to them and are pleasing colors. They are a bit flexible, mainly around the nice, tall rim, but sturdy enough to carry food on without fear of the plate failing. The size is good for any meal of the day, but specifically for young children who are learning to carry their plate to and from the table. If it is accidentally dropped, it won’t break. There are no markings to indicate that these are microwave, dishwasher or freezer safe, but the information page indicates they are dishwasher safe. I also ordered matching cups from the same company, they are stamped to indicate they are top rack dishwasher safe. They appear to be made of the same material, therefore, I will be handwashing these plates since they cannot be washed on the top rack in my dishwasher. Because of this, I might choose some different plates if I am to order more in the future.

Beyond the appealing colors, I'm seriously impressed with how sturdy these plates are. We've had our fair share of dropped dishes, but these have held up like champs. No cracks, no chips, nothing! Plus, the 10-inch size is perfect for toddler portions, with plenty of room for a balanced meal.The fact that they're dishwasher and microwave safe is a huge plus for busy parents. Cleanup is a breeze, and I can easily reheat leftovers without having to switch to a different dish. I also appreciate that they're made from bamboo fiber, which feels much better than plastic.Honestly, these plates have made mealtime a little less stressful and a lot more colorful in our house. These plates have a nice feel to them, however, if you're not paying close attention to the size when you order them, you may be surprised that these are much bigger than you would expect. When I ordered these, I was thinking that they would be smaller, more toddler sized plates, but they are definitely 10 in dinner sized plates. These do well in the dishwasher, which is a must for any daily plate in my home! They seem sturdy and up to the task for feeding toddlers.
