These hornets nest decoy can deter wasps by simulating the size, shape, and color of hostile beehives. Wasps have territorial awareness, so they do not build nests near other bee colonies.
These wasp decoy nests are made of ultra light polyester fibers and have rain and wind resistance, making them more durable and more elastic than traditional paper fake bees nest.

I have used wadded up paper bags hanging on my deck fence in the past to ward off wasps and yellow jackets, it works well but once the paper gets wet it is pretty much done. These decoys are made of some sort of nylon polyester and should hold up to the summer weather. They are very easy to assemble and hang with just a bit of fishing line. I am very excited to see how these hold up over the summer.

I just opened these today and they are exactly as I was hoping. The only difference I see from the picture in the listing is that there is a bit more marbling between brown and beige than in the picture. But I actually like the color because it looks a little bit more natural than just one straight color.Set up for each of them took about 15 seconds as you just extend it and then slide the metal center part, which acts sort of like a spring, through the center. Tie a loop, hang it and you’re all set.I have not had this outside for more than just a few hours, but the material seems like it will hold up for at least this season. I’ll update the review if there’s any edits necessary, but so far I am definitely happy with this item, especially at this price point.
