The 3 mm width is perfect for corset lacing. i always replace the laces that come with the corsets.

I just received this 3.0mm satin cording. I needed it today to finish a project that is a gift, or I would have sent it back. It has loose fibers that did not get “twined” and made it look messy and cheap. Higher quality cording does not do this, so if you want it to be smooth without loose fibers, find another brand.

Nothing wrong with it but I did learn that it was too thick to use for wristlets. It just doesn't help with tying, going through silicone beads, or even trying to use with a loop turner. So if that's your goal, friend, this is not the one, go lower. Smaller is indeed better on this one. I'd say 1.5-2 is the sweet spot
