Great rain gear I even use it in the snow

I got the 3XL size so that I could pull this suit over my entire set of riding gear for cold, rainy days. I can definitely say that the jacket and pants can pull over top of everything without even having to remove my boots. So that's great. For reference, I'm about 6' 2" and about 215lbs.There are plenty of pockets and a fold away hood which I love. The visibility is excellent, there are plenty of reflective stripes, and the collar is high enough that it goes up under my helmet for very minimum leaking down the back of my neck. In a 2 hr ride in a complete down pour, I only felt 2 drops down my neck which was probably because I was turning my head and/or looking down.Now the bad.. the pants leaked and my pants got wet at the seam. It wasn't a lot of water but I definitely felt uncomfortable as the water seeped in. I can see that the seams are taped and I may have pulled at the seam while getting on and off the bike. I will try some liquid seam sealer to see if I can seal it better.Overall, this is a great set of rain gear for riding. Maybe I got a bad set of pants, but I can most likely repair the leak which may have been caused by me having full riding gear underneath.

This rain suit arrived in its own storage, zipper bag, which is very convenient. You just store the bag in the closet until you need it. The colors are extremely bright, which makes you much more visible on a stormy gray day, and a great safety feature. The colors are true to the website and the jacket and pants seem to be as pictured. The material is soft and flexible, it’s not a stiff plastic feel. I can’t speak to the waterproof feature yet, because I haven’t wanted it in the rain. But when water is applied to the fabric, it does roll off.

Worst Part Is That The Zipper Is On THE WRONG SIDE For A Men's Jacket! Otherwise...this is a decent suit that comes in a zippered, safety yellow carry bag. The sizing is pretty close to the listed size chart and to be honest I wish I ordered a size up so that I could wear a sweatshirt/hoodie or light jacket under it more comfortably. I am 5’11’’ 210lbs. and this XXL fits me IF I am not wearing a bulky top. However, from shoulder to shoulder is a little tight and reaching and stretching puts tension on the the shoulders and upper back that I am gainfully aware of when it is happening as to not tear or rip the jacket open. So movement is a little restricted in that regard. Sleeve length is good and actually has a little extra, but there is some sort of odd triple pleat sewn into the ends of the arm that makes it feel a little weird when wearing with a short sleeved shirt. The jacket has an extra large storm flap under the zipper that ends up folded when zippered and buttoned up…not a bad thing but something that has to be paid attention to when putting on the jacket properly to try and keep water out. The hood rolls up and stores in the collar like most jackets. The reflective material is really reflective which is really appreciated on a safety suit like this. The worst part is the quality level of the velcro used on the suit. It is the really thin stuff that only works right when it is brand new and stops holding on to itself over a short time and has to be messed with all the time because it will keep letting go. I really wish the velcro was better quality because the jacket is overall pretty good and definitely serviceable and usable. The inside has a mesh liner to help with breathability but the suit still holds in body heat and will make a person sweaty and hot eventually while working while wearing it.The pants fit well over a pair of regular pants but the cuff ends are not wide enough to get a boot though. I could get the pants on and off while wearing sneakers but not with any of my boots. Again, the velcro at the bottom of the cuff is a critical piece to keep the cuffs in place but the low quality velcro was used here also. Even brand new I had the fastening strap at the cuff let go on me a couple times and had to fix it. The leg length and waist all fit well and even without tying the drawstring at the waist and the pants stay in place pretty well. The waist elastic band is strong and I like that, especially if I am in a hurry. The inside of the pants have a thin solid type liner and not a mesh like the jacket. Again, warmth does build up rather quickly when moving around or in warmer weather.I do however like the amount of storage pockets on the outside of the suit and it saves me from having to dig under the suit into my clothing to get stuff in and out of my pockets while I have it on.Is this the best suit …no but it is pretty good. Are there better out there…yes. But without waiting on a sale, coupon or deal to come around on a specific suit this is a good generic choice. I have my preferred rain gear from a retail tool store that also sells limited clothing and footwear but if that were not available and those were not on sale then this one would be a serious consideration for me! I just might order a bigger size the next time so the jacket was bigger and I’d just have to deal with slightly baggy pants. Overall while this did sound critical, I do like the suit but it is NOT a Heavy Duty suit and will not take kindly to work environments that I, personally, frequent. This would be great for a Sign Holder, Roadside Guys, Fishing, Changing a tire in the rain, directing traffic and all that kind of light duty, occasional or stationary type stuff. For construction, like I do, it will not hold up long. It would get me through a couple/few days if I am careful and don’t catch it on anything or rip it doing work but I would not expect it to last the week all the way through if I was just working in it and taking it for granted that it will hold up. BUT if I am mindful of what I am doing I am sure this would do very well for the price point. Speaking of that, the price at the time of this review is $78.95 minus a 20% OFF Coupon = $62.40. I feel that is a good value for a 2 piece 300D suit and this would be a great choice that many people would be happy with overall.I can see certain people absolutely loving this one and it being a perfect fit, on body and for what they need it for but I can see other people, like me, that know what rain gear like this “can be” and be disappointed in it until the secret of how affordable it was comes into the conversation. So it depends on who, what and why as to if the person will be happy with it or not. I think it is a very Suit-able suit for most and the value here is really good. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. To me it is just a “budget suit” and I like it for that because I can thrash on it if I have to and not get my “good one” destroyed and this one is way easier to swallow to replace it.

This item fits well even with baggy clothes on. I used them today while it was raining, and I stayed as dry as if I was not in the rain. I just find that the rain gear makes me sweat more than my clothes do, so I am fighting the rain from getting in and my sweat making me wet on the inside. It works well and keeps you dry in the rain and are not that uncomfortable and do not restrict my movement like most rain gear does. I like the high visibility of the rainsuit, makes me more comfortable in regard to my safety when working on the side of the road. I would purchase them again. The material is pretty darn bright I must say.
