Love these white rocks, very smooth, and my students can paint on them. They turned out great. There is a variety of sizes. I wish more of them were the larger size. I ended up buying two packages so that my students could have larger rocks from both packs.

I am disappointed with this set of rocks because I feel the description is a bit misleading. No where could I find anything about these rocks being dark stones that had a white covering put on them. I thought they were actually white stones when I ordered. They do have a few pros; however, I found them very difficult to work with because of the white covering. I do not know what it is, but it is a little like plaster.I always paint my dark rocks with a layer of acrylic paint, and my art work turns out to be something I am proud of. I give my painted rocks to a local cancer center, and I like for them to be something that others will appreciate. The squirrel that I painted on the rock that I show in my pictures is definitely not “a work of art.” I have not yet sprayed it with a protective spray, so hopefully it will improve in appearance after the spraying. My pens were scratchy, and I do not normally have that problem. I also had a hard time making the colors show. The surface is not user friendly.PROS:`None of the rocks were damaged….no chipped or broken ones` Each rock has its own pocket inside a bubble wrap. The bubble wrap pockets are reusable`All have smooth edgesCONS:`The description was a bit misleading`The rocks are coated with a covering that is extremely difficult to paint with acrylic pens.`The coating is not smooth on all of the rocks. There are signs of bubbles and imprints of a rock where the rock was placed to dry.` The larger rocks are long…...but narrow, which limits the designs that can be used`If a pencil is used to sketch the outline of work to be painted, it cannot be erased. Every mark, including oopsies, stays put. I am accustomed to being able to erase all pencil lead lines, but I cannot do that with these rocks.`The white whatever on the rocks looks like it might crack and fall off with age.

Nice little rocks for rock painting crafts. They were a little smaller than I was expecting (more small than medium sized) and some of the surfaces were not flat or smooth which could make painting a little more challenging, depending on what age you give them to. But overall, these are pretty good rocks. They were all packaged individually, which seemed a bit odd to me but maybe that's to prevent them cracking against each other. But it means you will have to unpack each and every rock one at a time, so if you use these for a class or group activity, you'll probably have to do that first.

Their rocks are always smooth and flat. Now they are painted white on all sides which makes them ready to paint .

The rocks arrived quickly. They are white, look prepainted, and individually wrapped. I rated them 4 stars because some are smaller than expected.

I purchased two orders of these white rocks. They were all PERFECT and nicely wrapped in plastic! Each rock was bright white and smooth. I was very pleased with these rocks and glad I chose them.

Nice, smooth, easy to paint or draw on these rocks are a pleasure to create with. Special images or messages that can be created for a special lifetime event or gift for someone who needs nothing but the sentiment is what counts.
