I used it to run thru my basement from my stereo's 12v trigger cable output to my subwoofer's 12v trigger cable input. Works great! Even though Amazon's annoying new artificial intel product whisperer says it is not suitable for 12v.In my case, I already had a short cable and a splitter so that the 12v trigger can be shared, and needed an extension (female to male). I expect most applications might do as well of better with male to male; Yeung Qee has a separate listing for that item.

I'm using this cord to connect headphones to receiver for t.v. & radio, it's hard to make a 50' cable last but this one is holding, it's gotten yanked and things when I cook with the headphones on but still the connections are holding, so I got another one for standby cause the price on this one is good and when they go out they go out fast.
