I bought this because I use a GoPro with an external mic. My setup fell and the original cable took a hit and broke. This was the replacement I ordered. Works perfectly well.

It works with my sony camera. This won't be compatible with phone's headphone jack. They look same but are different.

Works great - I always have 2-3 in my go bag just in case one gives out...and they do, like most cords. Priced well, solid and flexible build. No worries using this cable.

I bought this to replace the original non coiled cord that was included with my Rode Video mic Go II. The original cord would be fine in certain applications but it's just a straight cord and a little difficult to manage with a camera on a gimble. This works much better as it is just the right length and there is not a bunch of loose cable flopping around that needs to be managed. I wish this was the standard audio cord that was included with everything but for about $10 It was worth spending a little extra.
