Sure, they're made of safe, durable material.The plates are wideHowever, the Sections are extremely shallow.I cannot use this for "saucy" meals like spaghetti & meatsauce or beans & rice or even mac n cheese. This, for me, makes them useless.

These are smaller than some of the other children’s stainless-less steel plates, but that is good because they can fit in smaller places than the other plates do. The smaller size is also good for smaller children.All three plates have three sections in them, along with three different colored, removable silicone sleeves. Both the plates and the sleeves can be put through the dishwasher. I would always remove the silicone before washing to make sure no bacteria would form between that and the plates.The silicone sleeves have strong suction cups to fasten the plate down, and prevent your child from picking up the plates.There is a lot of concern right now about problems with plastic plates, and other material used in plates. Stainless-steel offers a good choice to use instead, and am happy with them.

I love that this is metal, and when I throw it in the dishwasher the dish washing soap doesn't penetrate into the plate. The silicon ring can be easily removed and placed back onto the metal plate and is easy to clean. I really this this is sanitary and I do like that the silicon ring, has good suction as well!This is a must have, for practicality.

Much nicer than I had expected. The plates have a very nice weight to them and the suction portion is very effective. I had to pry the plates apart when I opened them because they were suctioned together. The plate can be removed from the silicone suction portion for easy cleaning. As baby gets bigger they can be used without the suction well into toddler years to keep foods from touching (very important for toddlers.) Again, the plates are nice heavy weight, the silicone is thick and sturdy. Two sets is all you need to survive from first foods to graduating to regular dishes. These are fantastic. Colors are accurate to listing photos. Green, dusty teal, and beige.

We finally made the switch from silicone plates to stainless steel after trying my baby's food and it does taste like soap. The silicone bottom is removable so it's much easier to clean. Actual plate is very light and thin. suction works well but my baby is strong enough to slide it but it works for us for now! Love the color combo on this one!
