I was a little concerned these wouldn't work with my machine as the entire throat plate isn't metal, just the part around the feed dogs, but it was enough to make these magnets stay and most importantly stay still! This is turning out to be one of those sewing things I never thought I'd use, but I doubt I'll ever sew without it now. Heps keep my seams so straight. Another benefit is that I can sew a perfect looking double needle- looking topstitch by setting the first line of stitching on my computerized machine to the left and my next line to the center without having to move this magnet. My only question is why it came with 3. They all seem the same.
