These are nice paddle holders. They are 2"' diameter, so hold pretty big paddles. They hold my paddles loosely on our little 10' bass boat. They have a kind of hinge on one end and a clasp on the other. They are made of a nice, strong plastic and the latching mechanism works well and is not flimsy at all. They attach with a single screw (nut and bolt provided), so could theoretically rotate, but mine are pretty well staying put. I used well nuts into the plastic/hollow hull of our little boat and they are great. I put them one on the outside of the hull and one on the inboard sidewall, so they are now off the floor of the boat and out of our way, yet readily and easily accessible when needed.

Right out of the box, I was impressed with these Boat Hook Holders Boat Paddle Holder Clips. I liked the quick release. I would have preferred to have wood screws instead of machine screws. My main concern is long term durability, especially with direct sun exposure. All in all, this is a very good product, especially for the price.
