I've been fairly happy with the results so far. My cat didn't mind it at all, didn't scratch it, and it doesn't have a bad odor either. You have to cut off a good portion of the collar, since it's super long. It's very soft and stays on well, which is helpful, because my cat has lost multiple other collars outside before.I don't think one collar lasts 8 months, I would definitely switch it out for a new one sooner than that. It's definitely worth the money though, good value for the price!

I was skeptical of these at first. I've only used one brand for my cat, but they've become unaffordable lately. I tried these because they are similar to his regular ones. He's worn the collar for weeks now and I haven't found any fleas on him. I check daily with a flea comb because he goes outside on his kitty leash. I get four collars for less than one of his regular collars. No skin irritation or adverse side effects so far. Not bad at all!

Update: the collars didn’t work for ticks in the Midwest. This morning there are Ticks embedded all over cat that has had collar on for 2 months. Very disappointing, will got back to more expensive collars that work. Another cats fur started falling out and he developed a severe reaction to the collar. Not for us.

I have many indoor outdoor cats, and so I really have to have collars that protect them from flea & ticks. I have found that this brand works the best for me and my cats, and I continuously buy from them. This is my third time buying from them, and without fail, they have helped my cats be free of fleas and flea larva. They are all set for the rest of winter and in the spring and I’ll be re-purchasing for the beginning of summer time.thank you!

Two cats, two different reactions on the collars. One cat didn't notice anything. I attached this collar on him, adjusted, readjusted, he's great. No weird behavior, no burning on his neck, no itchiness or excessive scratching. Like it should be, right?I definitely noticed no flea markings on him within a week! After brushing him all over, I haven't found a single flea! The brush was also clean from the flea poop! That has never happened before! And after he sleeps, there's no black markings (flea poop) on the bed either.I had to cut the loose end because it's too long. It's very soft to touch. My cat's neck doesn't burn. Hairs on his neck don't fall out either. It doesn't have any odor. After wearing it for 2 months, I found his 1st flea while brushing him. That's pretty impressive for me! I've been using Seresto collar all these YEARS and never got such results! I'll stopping buying Seresto collars from now on! Such a big difference! The other cat had a totally different reaction from the very moment I tried to put the collar on her. She totally freaked out, I didn't even get a chance to cut the excess collar end. She was running with a loose end all day until she calmed down! I don't know what freaked her out, the smell, the feel of the collar, or a collar itself. I think the latter. She was without collar for 2 years. And now her human tries to wrap something around her neck. "Nah, get me out of here, lol". She calmed down a lot since the first day. And yes, I did cut the excess of the collar off. But she used to scratch her neck on and off first couple of weeks. I was keeping an eye on her. After wearing it for a month she definitely calmed down a lot. I think she got used to it now.Overall, I'd recommend the collar. Judging by my favorite cat, the collar works. I'm sure it'll work on your cat too.Unquestionable value for your money! Cheaper than Seresto and works better! Hands down my favorite collar for my cat!

TldrI'm thrilled with the results so far!Have been dealing with treatment resistant fleas for nearly 2 years in Florida, where they never seem to die despite multiple treatments of house & indoor only cats on flea treatments 24/7/365.All 3 cats are scratching & grooming significantly less since application less than 36h ago & aren't experiencing any adverse effects.Even if collars only last 3-4mo rather than 8mo advertised, I'll buy again if these results continue & will update review in a month or 2.Full reviewI can't speak to longevity/if the collars will last 8mo each as advertised yet, however I do live in Florida & since my HOA decided to stop treating the grounds for fleas, I have been dealing with a fleas that have resisted all treatment... so far in the house I've tried DE, the usual OTC, flea lamps, pro grade flea treatment (self application), & profession pest treatment with no luck, on top of the usual flea treatments for the cats (all indoor only). They cats have been on RX topical flea meds, OTC topicals and collars, including the gray one that costs $60+ per collar, all with only mild to moderate success that would last a few weeks at best (if they worked at all). We've all been miserable, and I've been frustrated with the lack of results, esp considering the costs of Rx flea meds X3 plus pro pest treatments! The Vicsom collars arrived on Saturday night, and I applied them late Saturday night/early Sunday morning (around 2am... My sleep is awful). Their itching & grooming was reduced dramatically by Sunday morning, and has decreased even further in the last 24h (less than 36h total). My male cat is a compulsive over groomer, and his grooming has been reduced as well, so I'm pretty thrilled with the results so far.None of my cats have shown any adverse effects, they've just been happier, less itchy, scratchy cats.I'll update the review in a month or two when we've had more time with the flea collars, but as of right now, I'll happily buy these again, esp at the current price of 20.99/4pk, making them about $5.25 per collar, which is a fantastic value compared to the $30+ topicals I've been buying each month or the $60+ name brand collars, all with only moderate results at best!A couple of things...1.) The collars are incredibly long - I had to cut at least 7 inches off of each, and will trim more once they've settled into the collars. I do wish the manufacturer had included a loop for the 2-3" excess they recommend leaving for adjustments (the gray collar has a loop... Very helpful!). I may try to diy one from plant Velcro, soft side out, of course.2.) the ingredients can't be found anywhere on the listing or the box, which is wild. They should be front & center so consumers can make informed choices.Per the sheet found within the box, the active ingredients are:1.5% Deltamethrin2% Imidacloprid96.5% other ingredientsI'd still really like to know what the other ingredients are!I'd knock the product down a star for the 2 issues above, but I'm so grateful that my cats are no longer itchy that I'm letting it go for now.Again, I'll update in a month or two, and possibly after that as well.I've included pics of packaging, the collars & one of all 3 cats sacked it in my lap after approx 8h in the Vicsom collars - they stayed like that with zero itching from any of them for hours!
