These are nice solid ground stakes to mark boundaries or whatever you may want to use them for. They are cast aluminum and pretty rugged. They are not that long, but should stay put. They could be yanked out though by curious kids, etc. The round top is pretty big and easy to see. Pro tip: put a piece of wood on top before hammering in as our hammer dinged up the paint a bit. We used these to replace some wooden stakes that a surveyor put in that were kind of exposed and unsightly, so this resolves that issue while preserving the marked location. Aluminum can be picked up by most metal detectors, so these should be easy to find even if buried.

These Property Line Markers are quite substantial and appear as if they could be permanent. I got these because I intend to put in an inground swimming pool and I will need to have my property lines marked for that. I know that property corners are at a 90 degree angle and a 3” wide round marker would not be precise enough to show the actual corner. In my experience Land Surveyor’s drive a wooden stake in the ground and then place a nail in the stake at the precise corner.These could be used to mark other buried items on your property like a septic system or a propane tank. I am not sure these would work for property lines. These markers are made of what appears to be a heavyweight aluminum type metal. At the time I ordered these the set of 4 was selling for $28.99. I think this is priced too high for what these are. I do not know what else is out there. These are nicely made, but expensive.
