These are great snack containers for my toddler and the whole family too. They are slim and a good size to slip into my backpack. Easy to clean and can be microwaved. It also comes with two sets of cute small utensils. Perfect and compact!

I would always choose stainless steel over plastic for the obvious health reasons. But most of the full stainless containers requires a rubber band to keep the lid closed. And it's pretty hard for younger children to take off and put on the rubber band.This is a great compromise. The body is stainless steel, but with a plastic lid that is easily open for kids. The seal is pretty good so the lid doesn't come off in the lunch bag. I would do a quick size check so you know the size of this container. It's not that big, I would say it's good for pre school children.
