This works well if you use the right technique. Otherwise it fails miserably! Do a cross pattern over the top of the vase, leaving about 3/4” - 1” edges on all sides. Take more tape and run a circle around the outside of the vase, taping down the edges. Then fill your vase with water and flowers. This ensures the cross pattern doesn’t lift off once the water touches it. It doesn’t stick at all if any water touches it and it’s not secured down! You do need scissors to cut it, it doesn’t tear.

This floral tape is the perfect thickness and sticks well. It's been great for all of my DIY floral arrangements.
