This 40V lithium-ion replacement battery is a great alternative to the original Black+Decker batteries—especially if you’re looking to save money without compromising performance.Worked seamlessly with my Black+Decker trimmer and leaf blower. It also fits all the tools listed in the description without any issues. The 3000mAh capacity provides plenty of power for moderate yard work. It lasted just as long, if not slightly longer, than my original LBX2040 battery. The built-in LED charge status light is a nice touch, making it easy to monitor charge levels while you work. The battery casing feels durable, and it locks into my tools securely—no wiggle or loose fit. Priced competitively compared to OEM batteries.It charges a bit slower than my original battery on the standard Black+Decker charger—but not significantly enough to be a dealbreaker. Time will tell how it holds up after dozens of charge cycles, but early impressions are positive.

I have an older Black & Decker hedge trimmer that I use in the spring extensively and then a lot less during the summer and fall. Having a spare battery makes it a lot easier to get my spring work done all at once without having to stop and recharge.The battery fits perfectly into the hedge trimmer and it runs just fine. The battery recharged correctly with my battery charging base. It worked flawlessly.Overall good replacement battery.
